C.A.C.F. (C.A.C. Faenza, Ceramiche Faentine) - At the end of the Second World War, thirteen ceramists Faenza finding themselves faced with the need to start working again meet in the cooperative and founded, in September 1945, the ceramic manufacture "C.A.C.F." (Cooperative Artigiana Ceramisti Faentini) based in the former Farina Factory in via Canal Grande 2 and, thanks to the financial help of the National Liberation Committee and by the American Association "C.A.D.M.A.", they start production inspired by the traditional Faenza styles and the work of the ancient "Ferniani" manufacture. The members of the cooperative are: Aldo Bacchilega, Ezio Boschi, Emilio Casadio, Canzio Contavalli, Luigi Contavalli, Ilario Fabbri, Luigi Fantoni, Roberto Mazza, Giuseppe Melandri, Mario Ortolani, Vincenzo Ossani, Giovanni Preolani and Marcello Zanetti. The first ceramics made are marked with two crossed triangles and the letter F to the brand center that replies those of the "Farina" factory. In 1947 the brand "C.A.C.F. Faenza" and the work factory in about fifty members and employees appears. Among the collaborators of these years we remember: Domenico Mattioli, Angelo Baldini, Wilma Ambrosini, Elsa Battistini, Ferruccio Savini, Vittorio Merendi, Teresa Marchesini, Lelia Casadio, Angela Rivalta, Fausto Dalla Pozzo, Romana Valmori, Manlio Melandri, Rosa Cornacchia, Giulia Gorra, Maria Linari, Silvia Gaudenzi, Giovanna Sabbatini, Antonia Bubani, Emma Pozzi, Gigliola De Giovanni, Demilde Cassani, Bruna Tamburini, Francesco Leonardi, Maria Teresa Galassi, Ausilia Maccolini, Alberto Bacchilega, Ermenegildo Quattrini, Maria Concetta Marabini, Maria Silvestrini, Maria Minardi, Valentina Emiliani, Elena Ghetti, Marcello Zanetti, Irma Gurioli, Olga Cimatti, Fedalma Nardi, Giordano Tronconi, Maria Ravagli and Giovanni Spada. In 1949 the factory moved to the premises of Viale delle Ceramiche 11 and expands production obtaining increasing commercial success. Between 1951 and 1961 he collaborated with the Cooperative Lo Printer Faentino Sante Tassinari. The cooperative remains active until 1952 when the factory is sold to Eng. Mazurek Blazey who soon transfers it to Viale delle Ceramiche 11 and continues its production until 1955. In 1956 the property changed and since then production, which went on until 1996, has been marked "Ceramiche Faentine".
