PAMONO’s latest pop-up is bringing the 70s back

This is it

Design has been a part of the human experience since the dawn of recorded history. Since the beginning of 2020, the world has changed, and perhaps so has the way we view design as a contributing factor to our well-being.

As we collectively sheltered into our homes, our spaces had to be reconsidered, and rooms renovated, all to accommodate a growing time spent in our interiors. And with this came the opportunity to reevaluate the choices made in regard to where we sourced what design pieces.

In March of 2022, we launched our Greenspiration Suite, the PAMONO pop-up that aimed to tell the story of a sustainable future of home. This would not have been possible without the support of our partners at the historic Kastner & Öhler - the family-owned department store in Graz, Austria, which has been filling people’s lives with beauty and meaning for nearly 140 years.

This time around, we wanted to tell a story about identity, expression, and the consciousness behind design. We teamed up with BB Coyle, Head of Decoration at Kastner & Öhler, to create This Is It - a space powered by PAMONO and filled with inspiration, joy, and timelessness, which one can never have too much of.

When entering the This Is It suite, you will find yourself surrounded by three distinct areas. There is the Sanctuary - a relaxation corner channeling the 70s dream. Then comes the Work station, featuring a Platon folding desk by Giancarlo Piretti, and a rare Uten-silo organizer. And finally, the Nook - a dining area conceptualized around a set of the iconic Tulip table and chairs by Eero Saarinen.

If you also feel like bringing a bit of This Is It to your home, then the collection below is the perfect place to start. From groovy armchairs to noteworthy home office ideas, and dining sets worthy of your time and attention, these pieces will be certain to bring warmth and joy into your home this winter season.

This is it. This is PAMONO.
