Yesterday we published Reload The Current Page, a conversation between designer Michael Anastassiades and his friend, and fellow Cypriot, Eleni Xenou about his new show currently on at the Point Centre for Contemporary Art in Cyprus. From what I’ve seen, the show looks stunning (I so wish I could be in Cyprus right now to stop in for a peek) and seems to wonderfully showcase the evolving style this talented designer.

Michael’s body of work is so impressive. He has real vision and you can see it developing with each iteration and new collection. There’s a sense of intimacy that emanates from each of his pieces. Something about the simplicity of form, materiality, and manipulation of light, along with a perfect dose of make-you-look-twice, makes each piece seriously special.
