Jewels by JAR

This show at The Met is unreal. Joel A. Rosenthal, aka. JAR, has produced some of the most astonishing jewels. Amethysts, rubies, diamonds, sapphires, and garnets all impeccably populating these beautiful mini structures, all designed to be worn. From very flamboyant and almost grotesque to super simple and chic—even the orange/mustard velvet vitrines—the jewels are perfectly thought through and really come to life. They look incredible in these images, but they are really something else when you see them in person. Definitely worth checking out!
