One of the meetings I was most looking forward to on my trip to London was with Lina Patsiou. A promising Greek talent coming out of the never ending talent pool provided by the RCA. I went to meet Lina and see her work at DesignersBlock at SouthBank, and boy oh boy, her work is exquisite.

Exceeding my expectations, Lina's work shows such attention to detail and quality of craft it's outstanding—the stitching on her Forever collection is PERFECT—but also her unique approach to design is very inspiring. As if that weren't enough she's also sweet and stunning.

Lina's Forever collection is a series of leather-upholstered furniture that become colored/discolored as they are exposed to UV light. The furniture retains traces of where shadow and light have sat on their surfaces through variations in the tone of their skin.

It was an absolute pleasure to meet Lina and I'm looking forward to working together!
