Clock case rising on a column with a three-passage base, richly decorated with rocailles and delicate, plastically formed flowers and leaves surrounding the dial, crowned by a flora with a sickle and flower basket leaning sideways on a beveled pedestal, asymmetrical decoration on the sides, a rocaille element on the left, a floating putto with a garland of flowers on the right, below the dial the bust of the ancient angel Chronos as an allegory of time. Rich plastically executed colored decoration and gold rims on the entire case, brass movement with inlaid porcelain plates painted with dark blue Roman numerals. Original movement checked by master clockmaker, completely cleaned and fully functional. Designed by JOHANN JOACHIM KÄNDLER (1706 - 1775): Chief sculptor at the Meissen manufactory from 1742 to 1775.
