About This Piece

Vintage Design

Small walnut dressing table, typically given as part of a bride's dowry to furnish the bedroom. The tilting full-length mirror is original and intact, with a beautiful vintage patina. The drawer is lined with the original paper, featuring Florentine lily motifs. This small dressing table belonged to my family, first to my grandmother, then to my mother, and then to me. It no longer fits in with our décor, and in agreement with my mother, we want it to find a new home where it will be appreciated. No restoration. Only treated for moths.
