Vintage Design

This high-quality modernist metal wall light was created by the German designer Rolf Krüger in the late 1960s. The iconic sconce features 3 metal tubes in brass with 6 opaline glass light diffusers.

Rolf Krüger founded his own design studio in Stuttgart, Germany. He worked in various fields of design, such as industrial design, graphic and communication design, as well as corporate identity for brands like Mercedes-Benz, Siemens and Staff Leuchten. Rolf Krüger also designed the famous ' Cross-Oyster ' wall lamp for Staff. His works are part of various design museum collections (e.g. Museum 'Die Neue Sammlung' in Munich).
