About This Piece

Vintage Design

A stunning pair of antique Swedish satin birch Biedermeier armchairs. They were recently imported from Sweden and date from around the 1870-1890 period.

They are of superb quality, with a beautiful and refined design. They are quite petite, and would be useful in various settings around the home as side chairs. The satin birch frames have gorgeous colour tones, the arm and back rests are beautifully lipped and they sit on tapered legs.

We have had the frames recently re-polished and they have been fully re-upholstered in a cream cotton fabric.
