About This Piece

Vintage Design

Decorative vase made of deep red ruby glass with an elaborately crafted metal mount in the style of classic Ormolu mounts. The intense red color of the glass is traditionally achieved by adding gold chloride to the glass melt, giving the piece a particularly elegant appearance. The richly decorated metal mount is removable and underscores the piece's sophisticated character.
