Vintage Design

This original Rodica chair, designed by Mario Brunu in the late 1960s for Comfort, is a true sixties design classic. with its signature swivel base and organic fiberglass shell, it’s both eye-catching and incredibly comfortable—a perfect blend of form and function.

What makes this piece stand out extra is its condition: the leather upholstery is pristine, with no damage or discoloration. The shell shows only minimal, age-appropriate wear. It’s rare to find a vintage Rodica chair so well preserved.

Did you know that this chair made notable appearances in the 1970s British science fiction television series Space: 1999? It was featured in various settings within the show, including the living quarters of Moonbase Alpha and the Croton ship in the episode "Dorzak".
