About This Piece

Vintage Design

An elegant center table veneered in wood, enhanced by exquisitely fine marquetry featuring light wood stringing and a large, finely executed bouquet of wildflowers. The top, with its delicately rounded corners, is encircled by a brass molding that highlights the richness of the design and the quality of the craftsmanship.
The apron opens to reveal a perfectly integrated, decorated drawer with a functional lock and a finely crafted key, demonstrating the meticulous attention to detail. The piece rests on four elegantly tapered and fluted legs, joined by an X-shaped stretcher centered with a decorative medallion. The toupie feet complete the ensemble with refined elegance, typical of the taste and style of the Napoleon III era.
This table is distinguished by the quality of its veneer, the delicacy of its floral marquetry, and the harmony of its proportions, making it a representative piece of 19th-century French furniture, combining luxury and craftsmanship.
