About This Piece

Vintage Design

Ellipse folding dining table model nr. 2 by Bendt Winge for the Norwegian firm Kleppes Møbelfabrikk. It was produced between the 1950s and 1960s, years during which the designer collaborated with the brand in the design of several folding dining tables of exquisite craftsmanship and functionality.

Made with two central feet turned in solid teak wood, whose shape gives its name to the model. To this central piece, the legs are anchored with several hinges that will allow us to unfold the table reaching its full length. This offers the possibility of having it completely retracted, occupying 25cm in length, unfolding one of the wings up to 91cm in length or extending it completely to complete an oval board 153cm in length.
