Marta Benet

Marta Benet is a Spanish artisan, designer, and architect based in Italy. She graduated in Architecture from the Polytechnic University of Valencia and continued her training in Fashion Design in the same city. After several jobs as a designer and seamstress, in 2015 she moved to Milan where she came into contact with ceramics. Always bound with the craftsmanship of Valencia, she decided to undertake a personal project, which combines different disciplines such as art and design through the recovery of manual activities. Today she works in her laboratory in Asola, in the province of Mantua, where she designs and creates limited edition objects, unique or customized pieces, in fabric and ceramic. Her multidisciplinary training allows her to develop different types of objects such as decorative ceramics, giftware, textile art, or clothing.
