About This Piece

Vintage Design

Large sideboard in the Liège Baroque style. Early 20th century. Made of solid oak.

The oak body stands on six feet, coffered at the sides, with rounded corners and curved base frames. Richly decorated with rocaille motifs and floral carvings. The fronts are slightly recessed and feature a door framed by concave pilaster strips, flanked by four lockable drawers each. A matching, overhanging, molded top panel.

There is a shelf behind the door.

Shelf depth: 36 cm

Drawer interior dimensions: 10.5 cm high, 47 cm wide, 55 cm deep

Very good, restored, ready-to-live-in condition with slight signs of age-related wear. The drawer bottoms and the shelf have been replaced with oak. Waxed surface. See photos.
