Vintage Design

Rare pair of "champagne" chairs from dining room Estelle and Erwin Laverne 1957 for Laverne International USA. Made of green molded acrylic glass on a polished aluminum base, with a white leather cushion, the chairs swivel comfortably. Inspired by Saarinen's "Tulip" chair, Champagne is part of Laverne's "invisible group". The slender base of the pedestal and the transparent shell give design visual lightness and timeless sophistication.
