About This Piece

Vintage Design

Doge table, designed by the famous Italian architect Carlo Scarpa, one of the cornerstones of the "ultraTational" movement.

The table was designed in 1968 for Simon Gavina, a company purchased by Cassina in the 80s
This model is the first model of the Simon collection by Dino Gavina.

The base of the table is a solid four -legged brushed steel legs connected with brass screws and inserts that supports a heavy 1/2 "rectangular floating glass with shiny edges.

The table is in excellent condition, the glass has a small chipboard on the barely perceptible edge, the steel structure has some small sign of usury due to the time
