Paul Cocksedge

Designer Paul Cocksedge was born in London in 1979. He studied industrial design at England’s Sheffield Hallam University (1997) before going on to study under designer Ron Arad at London’s Royal College of Art. He earned his Masters in Product Design in 2002.

In 2003, Cocksedge co-founded Paul Cocksedge Studio in London with his business partner, Joana Pinho, whom he met at the RCA. The studio is known for its innovative technological and material exploration – especially in lighting – as well as diverse, interdisciplinary work, which includes design concepts, installations, public art, architectural projects, and private commissions. Clients include Sony, BMW, Flos, Swarovski, and Hermès, among others.

Cocksedge lives and works in London.
