Juanma Lizana

After studying design, Juanma made his first prototype in 2002, a ceiling lamp made from methacrylate. The following year he completed a degree in interior architecture and soon after began working as an interior designer. While working as an interior designer, he began sourcing vintage furniture for clients, which quickly became a new passion. Though he was working with vintage items during this time, Juanma continued to create pieces under his new brand Juanma Lizana, where he created new industrial style lighting. In 2007 Lizana opened Vintage 4P, a vintage furniture boutique in the trendy barrio of La Latina, Madrid. At Vintage4P 20th, Lizana curates vintage furniture to compliment his contemporary designs. His own work takes great inspiration from the vintage pieces he sources - particularly the vintage industrial designs.
