Born in Tehran, Iran in 1984, Hanieh Heidarabadi is a Swedish architect and designer currently living in Stockholm. She earned her Bachelor's and Master’s Degrees in Molecular Biology from Lund University between 2003 and 2007; attended Konstfack University College of Arts, Crafts and Design from 2010 to 2011, focusing on furniture and spatial design; and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Architecture from the Lund School of Architecture in 2012. Heidarabadi’s architectural studies also included a year abroad at Copenhagen’s Royal Danish Academy, where she focused on 3D printing and porcelain.
Presently, Heidarabadi works at Scandinavia's largest architectural firm, White. Notable independent projects thus far include her highly detailed 3D Printed Porcelain Lamps (2013) and Deux ex Machina (2012); Heidarabadi’s graduation project.
