The gallery themselves are at a perfect equilibrium in their 200m2 showroom close to Lyon housing emphatically French designers of the 1950s such as Andre Sornay, Pierre Guariche, Joseph-André Motte, Marcel Gascoin, Jacques Hitier or Pierre Paulin. Balancing this strong showing from French style are emblematic designs from the likes of Ludwig Mies van der Rohe, Charles & Ray Eames, and Florence Knoll amongst others. To ensure a safe passage from past to present Galerie 44 work meticulously with cabinetmakers, upholsterers and steelworkers who help in the restoration and preservation of their collection.
