Vintage Design

The Panton chair was manufactured by Verner Panton for Herman Miller in 1950. It is made of S-shaped resin compound. Panton designed the first ever chair consisting of a single piece, molded in plastic and available in a variety of colors. The S chair became Panton's most famous and largest scale production design.

The chair comes from an early production version which started in the early 1950s. It is preserved in original condition with no damage, some chips and scratches. Signed.
