This exceptional original work by the master calligrapher Ali Bakhtiari, dating from 1989 (1368 SH), presents a rare opportunity for collectors of sophisticated Persian art.

The work is distinguished by the complex Siah Mashq technique, in which the rhythmic layering of the Nastaliq characters creates an almost meditative, abstract depth. The support is particularly noteworthy: it is a unique, hand-marbled Abru (Ebru) paper. Unlike industrial processes, this pattern was painstakingly created by hand on a water bath, making each sheet an unrepeatable original.

In contrast to traditional black ink, this work features a striking deep blue pigment ink. The choice of colors lends the complex Siah Mashq composition a modern, almost ethereal coolness and depth, making this piece a perfect example of "Scriptural Abstraction" against the organically patterned background – an art form that combines traditional Oriental mysticism with the formal language of modern Western abstraction.
