About This Piece

Lovely expressive ceramic portrait of a young girl signed Albert-André AEBLY, artist represented in the Belgian Royal Museum and author of "The Wolf" sculpture exposed in the Mont des Arts in Brussels.
AEBLY (1897-1971) worked as a painter and as a sculptor.
This singular signed sculpture offers beautiful proportions: 29 cm Height x 18 cm Width x 17 cm Depth.
Excellent condition with beautiful age patina in old rose tones.
The original base stele is made of rosewood.
